Rosedale Library Friends encourages the use of the resources and services of our local library. We raise funds for materials and special programs, recruit library volunteers, and advocate for the Rosedale Library and the DC Public Library system.

HIPS promotes the health, rights, and dignity of individuals and communities impacted by sexual exchange and/or drug use due to choice, coercion, or circumstance. HIPS provides compassionate harm reduction services, advocacy, and community engagement that is respectful, non-judgmental, and affirms and honors individual power and agency.

Our volunteers provide children living in temporary housing with the freedom to learn and heal through play. They encourage and support positive emotional development for one of the most vulnerable populations in the District. All on their own time. Without our volunteers, Playtime would not be the effective and dynamic organization that it is.

Reading Partners mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.
