September of each year, the H Street, NE corridor becomes the location of the H Street Festival. This full day street festival is designed to showcase the diverse H Street business district – particularly the burgeoning Arts and Entertainment District at the Eastern end of the corridor, known as the Atlas District.

On Saturday, September 18th of 2010, HSMS will kick off its 7th consecutive H Street Festival, utilizing the opportunity to draw attention to the H Street Corridor and its businesses. The H Street Playhouse, Rock and Roll Hotel, and the Atlas Performing Arts Center and the Joy of Motion are among the most entertaining venues along the corridor.

The 2010 H Street Festival will provide an opportunity to succeed last year record breaking crowd of over 15,000 attendees, while integrating collective disciplines of the arts throughout the entire fabric of the Festival.

Come Dance with Step Africa (link), see the creativity of the Art Cars, and hear the sounds of Local Artist and the stylish fashions down H Street's runway with the fashion model of DC Fashion Week.
